LJ Hooker Kingborough join forces with the Knights

The Kingborough District Cricket Club has announced the signing of LJ Hooker Kingborough as it’s major Sponsor for a three year period commencing this season.

Knights President John French, in announcing the new deal at a recent Club Function, spoke of the great fit he felt existed between both organisations that are working for the betterment of the whole Kingborough community and not just in one area of the Municipality.

The recent rebranding of LJ Hooker Margate to now encompass Kingborough as a whole, allowed the opportunity for the organisations to increase their connection. Particularly that which has existed in the past through Club Playing life Member Michael Kingston, a Senior Consultant with LJ Hooker for over 30 years!

Supporters would be well aware of Club mascot “The Knight” which graces the Clubrooms and was donated by Michael to the Club two years ago. The Margate office has also been a sponsor of the Club Caps in recent years.

LJ Hooker Kingborough principal, Susan Clifford, said that her team were very enthusiastic about the expanded Sponsorship arrangement which will see the company logo appearing on the Knights one-day and T20 playing shirts this season. This will increase to all playing tops in years two and three of the agreement plus ground and clubrooms signage, plus exposure through the club website and Facebook pages.

With the Club junior program increasing each year, with both girls and boys teams participating in rosters, the Knights intend to utilise some of the additional funding to further increase the coaching opportunities available for those players as an extension to the existing ADAPT Junior Academy. The aim of this extended coaching program will be to increase the number of male and female players from Kingborough reaching the pinnacle of State selection through under age teams.

The LJ Hooker Kingborough Team Lead by Susan Clifford is joined in the sponsorship arrangement by agents Michael Kingston, Mickey White and Donna Dickson and the Knights express to them their appreciation for the support given to the Club.
